NEW TASMANIAN WORKSHOP / OFFICES

From February 2018 we will be moving into our new premises in Hobart Road, Youngtown. TAS.

This facility will have 2 large offices, support facilities, a high clearance workshop and substantial yard storage areas. This will be a full service facility with several oil treatment plants to 4500 litres/hr., HV testing equipment, and all necessary equipment to undertake transformer maintenance, installations, refurbishment and oil treatment / regeneration. 

SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT OF HEAT TRANSFER OILS

HVE have successfully treated 40,000 litres of heat transfer oil at an industrial facility north of Brisbane. 

The main object of the treatment was to safely remove explosive volatiles from the oil and their safe disposal.

We removed the volatiles utilising our AlfaLaval plant and disposed of them by burning through our onboard gas fired afterburner system. This ensured an environmentally friendly solution and reduced risks of pooling explosive gases, allowing the Customer to safely re-use the oil within their production processes.  HVE also removed other entrained non volatile gases, moisture was reduced to 2 ppm and carbon contamination was filtered down to 5 microns.
